The Practitioners of Alexandria Health Care Center and Medical Associates Of Northern Virginia, with offices in Alexandria and Arlington, have been committed to providing quality medical care to the Northern Virginia area since 1985. Our staff is composed of board-certified internists, including specialists in Cardiology, Urology, Orthopedics and Sleep Medicine.

 

We take a comprehensive approach to preventive health care; procedures we perform on a regular basis include office gynecology, cardiac stress testing, cardiac echocardiography, flexible sigmoidoscopy (examination of the lower colon), DXA (osteoporosis) studies, and treatment of minor skin problems. We emphasize maintenance of good health through indicated screening tests and appropriate physical examinations, along with following a healthy diet, regular exercise, and avoidance of substances toxic to the body. We also function as medical "detectives" to diagnose difficult and unusual problems
